Its an Animal Expedition

I have to confess I love the animal expedition paper, I have two packs, it is definitely going to be a pack which I will hoard. It is gorgeous, I love all the papers. The stamps are gorgeous too, they look good with different colouring methods, whether it is Blends, Stampin' markers or watercolours. The dies cut the papers and the stamps and their is a fabulous trick to have the animals facing both ways, rather than just one. If you hold the papers up to the light you can see the outline and place the die on and then I suggest keeping it in place with Washy tape. To reverse stamp i used my Stamparutus to line up where | wanted my image and stamped on to a large flat stamp.

You could easily create so many cards just using the stamp set, or papers, the fussy cutting is not so difficult. As a suite it does come in to its own if you add it all together, the ribbon is gorgeous and you can create stunning leaf collages.

All thats missing is a monkey! But the other animals are super cute. Which is your favourite?

Babies and a little wild!

One of my favourite sets to make baby cards (hatching cards) and childrens cards is the little wild set. I love the little animals, the stamp creates an image of the front and back of the animals and they have a matching die.The dies not only cut out the shapes but it also creates a little tag which can be removed, extra bonus!

The videos below show the stamp set and the items I have made.

I love this set. It is perfect for so many cute ideas. I have another set to show you on Thursday!

Twinkle Twinkle for a little Star

I love the selection of children and baby stamp sets in the Annual catalogue. I love making new baby cards, or hatching cards as they are affectionately known in my house. Baby's bring joy and hope, everything is new.

The Twinkle Twinkle suite is gorgeous, it can be used for a number of occasions and is versatile beyond just children and babies. The video below shows some of the ideas that I created and an walk through of all the gorgeous items in the suite.  You can find pictures of the cards in the gallery.

I have so many ideas for cards using this suite, but on to the next stamp set!

Rooted in Nature

I have spent some time playing in the craft room with the Rooted in Nature suite, It is so pretty, i especially love the papers. I must confess I was a bit overwhelmed when I first saw it due to the number of stamps and dies, the options are so varied. I decided to stick to simple card ideas. The gallery has been updated to show what I created, some of the cards were CASEd (Copy and share everything) off Pinterest, some are Copied and Selectively edited and some began life as Pinterest ideas or You Tube videos and I have changed them to suit my style. The videos below show the Suite and also my creations.

A friend has had a baby this week so next weeks inspirations will be baby inspired/themes. I hope you like the examples I have shown this week! Please let me know if there is anything that you would like to see.

Magical Day Gorgeousness

One of my favorite sets in the Spring/Summer catalogue is 'Magical Day.' I love the bundle and the matching papers. There are so many gorgeous cards on Pinterest. I CASEd this card from Bronwyn Eastley. I love the colours and also the unicorn, I think that it is gorgeous enough to be a piece of art as well as a card. I originally made this as a leaving card, so I didn't add a sentiment on the outside, I still think that it looks pretty.

I made another leaving card for another colleague using the same set,  I also used the clouds and waves from the Rainbow Builder Dies. I sponged the waves using Soft Sky on Soft Whisper White, I used So Saffron for the sand.

I love 'Magical Day' I used it for an inspiration station at our last team event, it is amazing as it has so many options for cards.
