Textures and Frames Inspiration

A few weeks ago I showed a card I made with the Textures and Frame stamps (a Sale-a-bration Freebie - Free when you spend £45 until the End of September.) I said I would share some more inspiration and cards I have made. As I have been out of my craft room I have not had the chance but this week as I was on leave I have had some time in the craft room.

At first I was thinking geesh how do I use these? But after a few cards and some Pinterest inspiration hunting I realised that they are super stamps which you can use with lots of other stamp sets, dies or punches. I have been through my current and retired stash, pulling out some of my favourite retro (retired) stamp sets. There are lots of examples on Pinterest some using more than one of the stamps and utilising items from the Annual and July to December catalogue. I love the inspiration, these stamps have been used in so many amazing ways.

I can honestly say I made a huge mess. My worst habit is definitely reaching for the same colours again and again and falling in love with In Colours just as they are due to retire (Just Jade is my current favourite colour.) Although have tried to use some bright colour combinations, I seem to revert back to blues, I think I need to hide my Misty Moonlight stamp pad, It used to be addicted to Night of Navy but that has currently been replaced.
