Playing in my Craft Room

Yesterday I got to spend some time in my craft room. Something I have not been able to do for a while due to family commitments. I was playing with the Christmas Cookie Cutters stamps and Punch.

My prototype is shown in this post. Contary to popular belief, everyone spends time playing with cards which are slightly less than perfect (too much glue, argh).

But I will be perfecting this today. I only have a few to play with.  (The picture is of three of many)

I am experimenting with Wink of Stella and embossing powders for Santa, but also pondering the stripes at the side.

So many ideas so little time.

New Catalogue - Yipppeeee

You will have noticed as it is currently everywhere that the new Seasonal Catalogue has been released, there are some amazing items in the Catalogue, one of my favourite being the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamps and punch. The ideas from the catalogue are in this blog.

There are some amazing ideas on Pintrest, which I can not wait to CASe. I am loving the banners and bookmarks which have appeared over the last few days.

There is a bundle which comprises of the Christmas stamp set and a punch. I cant wait to have a play.

Have you got yours yet?

Step One - where to start?

I first got in to card making as my Mother bought me a kit from a well known high street store.
It was so cute. But then I ran out of cards and nothing was reusable :(

However, Stampin Up have lots of different kits that are good for beginners or for more experienced crafters who would like to try Stampin Up goodies.

Why I love the kits!!

As you can see from the amazing picture, some of the kits come with everything you need to create beautiful cards (well nearly everything... you need to supply the glue).

They have the cards, envelopes andembellishments. The best part is the two ink spots, the reusable acrylic block and best of all reusable stamps!

I am in love and I am sure that you will be too.
