The gorgeous Country Lane Suite

cl-bg.png

One of the gorgeous autumnal suites in the Autumn Winter Catalogue is the Country Lane suite. It comprises of a stamp set, DSP, embellishments and embossing folder. I was so excited to play that I didn’t actually make all the cards I thought about. I seemed to be obsessed with the stamp set. It is so sweet their are a number of options for putting together scenes. With a number of options for colouring, blends, watercolour pencils or Stampin’ Write markers.

The DSP is a gorgeous selection of images with amazing colour combinations which are so pretty and inspirational. I have used some of them for the colours on my cards. I love them! The examples I made are below.

I have so many ideas for this suite, I have decided to spend some more time playing with the set this week. Let me know which one you like. I love the Blackberry Bliss cards.

Dancing Piggies

I am so excited, I got to go to a team retreat today, it was very last minute. Tom was going to a big boys toys day, which was cancelled because of the weather. We did lots of crafting and nattering. I love spending time with my Strawberry craft family, they are amazing. I had an amazing day, we made advent calendars, bubbles and also tins of cards. I will show these later in the week, I haven’t quite finished, I tend to talk more than I craft at these events.

Another reason I had a fab day is I finally got the piggies!! squeal with delight! I have loved it since saw it at OnStage in Amsterdam. I have been uming and arghing about it for so long. I can’t wait to make pigs in tutus, pigs with Crowns and of course pigs in muck. The picture below is the card in the catlogue.

I can’t wait to make my own piggie card. hopefully I will be able to later this week.

SW-card2.png

I have been loving making cards made with the Santa’s Workshop Memories and More Card Pack and Santa’s Workshop and Santa's Workshop Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. These are perfect for making quick easy christmas cards. The new cards and envelopes are specifically sized to fit the memories and more cards. There are a gorgeous selection of cards and stickers which can be used be themselves or with other items from the Santa’s Workshop suite or using the items in your stash.

These are the perfect cards to make with the children or if like me you need to make a large number but have limited time. The combinations are endless.

Jelly Bean Pouches for table presents and gifts

Jellybelly-pouch2.png

Firstly I must apologise that I missed Thursday and Saturday this week, I am not sure if I have previously said but i am a ‘spoonie.’ I have a chronic illness which in my case is Chronic Pain, it effects my tierdness the term was originally penned by Christine Miserandino who entitled her theory ‘The Spoon Theory.’ I have had an odd week and so apologise for not posting.

My video today is a Jellybean pouch created to enclose a 40g Jellybelly pouch, I love them, I have made them for craft fairs and also used them as table presents and a little present if I am giving money or a gift card.

The video below shows how to create them. I did make an error the sheet is 4 1/2”

I hope you like them, I would love to see pictures of yours if you make some, these are definitely craft fair must haves.
