Butterfly Hershey pouches

butterflies-hershey.png

I love browsing Pinterest and watching YouTube, I find so many inspiring things. One of my favourite items is a Lotus biscuit pouch, Posh Biscuit Treats I have made these a number of times, however the supplies used are now retired.

When I received the new catalogue and Sale-a-bration papers, I decided that I wanted a little customer treat and thought of this project. I also thought of the black and white papers in the Botanical Butterflies DSP. I found some gorgeous little Hershey bars. I know that I love these as a treat and that everyone at work loves them too. I developed the measurements based on using the classic label punch and also the Hershey bar. I also wanted to get the maximum number of treat holders out of the paper. You can make 5 treat pouches out of one piece of 12 x 12. The videos below show the items used to create the pouches and also how to make them.

The dimensions are:

2.5 inches x 9.5 inches

6.5cm x 24.5cm

I love this Hershey Pouch, I hope you do too.

I adore this Sale-a-bration item, I may have a few packets of this 12"x 12”  designer series paper. The pack contains twelve sheets, two each of six different double-sided designs.

I love all the sides of the paper, they are Coloured on one side but black and white on the other, so you can add colour if you wish to. I have used Blends, Stampin’ Write markers and Water colour pencils, they all look amazing!

Some of the papers also have designs with butterfly which co-ordinate with the Butterfly Duet Punch. The punch is still un-orderable, however, it should be orderable soon. The images are quite simple to fussy cut. I don’t normally fussy cut images but these were simple. Alternatively you could use a cutting machine if you have one.

The videos below give an overview of the suite and also shows some of the examples that I have made using the papers.

I have another video showing how to make the Hershey holder, it is so cute. I hope that you like my examples I adore this paper.

Beautiful You in Black and White

Today is a slight change to the planned programme, ! I had planned to publish a video on the Botanical Butterfly papers and examples i made. Then I realised that the pictures I had taken of the items were odd, I am not sure what my camera was doing but all the words are all blurry. I have not had chance to work out what went wrong or retake the pictures, so instead I wanted to show the gorgeous card I made using one of my favourite sets.

I have loved the Beautiful You stamp set since I won it at a Stampin’ Up! event. There are so many gorgeous ideas on Pinterest using this set and that it matches with lots of different sets. I decided to go simple with this card, using Whisper White and Basic Black. I used a ‘missing you’ sentiment from the stunning Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set. I added a bit of bling, with the Black Mini Sequin Trim. I think it rounds off the card perfectly but is not too over the top.

This could be done in so many different colours. Do you have a favourite colour to use for Beautiful You cards?

Elements and Butterflies

I have to confess I have really enjoyed playing and designing items including the Butterfly Elements. I loved them from the first time I saw them. The Butterfly Elements, are FREE with a £45 spend, before postage and packing. They were at the top of my free Sale-a-Bration item list along with the Botanical Butterfly DSP.

Although they correspond with the Butterfly Gala bundle, both the stamps and punch, they also can make gorgeous cards without them. As they are available as one of the Sale-a-bration items they are available until the 31st March or whilst stocks last. Stampin’ Up! Have advised Demonstrators that the Butterfly elements are going fast and that they might not last until the end of Sale-a-bration.  So stock up now if you like them, if you haven’t got the Butterfly Duo punch yet, it will should be orderable again in March, but the elements might be gone by then so don’t miss  out!

On Thursday I explained a few ways you are able to add colour to these Wooden Elements, there are 84 pieces on 5 sheets in this Sale-a-bration item. The elements include fabulous flowers, foliage and different sizes of butterflies and butterfly outlines.

The videos below show the items I have made and an overview of the elements.

I love these elements as you can see from my examples, not only do the elements look amazing on cards.  You can add them on to gift wrapping, 3D projects or you may have seen the amazing examples, where they have been made into scissor charms. I have some left, so you may see them popping up in my examples over the next few weeks!

Beautiful Butterflies

I love the amazing Sale-a-bration Butterfly elements, they are fabulous. As they are wood they are easy to make alterations to. I have coloured them in with Stampin’ markers, blends and also ink and shimmer paint. They are amazing and they are FREE with a £45 spend before P&P.

I adore all the ways that I have added colour to the elements. but the ink and shimmer paint is definitely my favourite. I added ink to an block and then added some shimmer paint. I added the colour with a sponge, it did take a while to dry (ask me how I know, I made a few items sparkly Gorgeous Grape).
