Happy Christmas With Peaceful Place Papers

Card Made on Video

I have finally made it back into the craft room. After childminding duties, falling over and having a flare up (oh the joys of being a Spoonie.) I apologise for being absent, I am hoping to be in the craft room more.

Over the past few videos I have been using the Peaceful Place Papers. I am trying to use up all the papers I have (my craft stash is getting out of hand.) I have also been using the Words of Cheer Bundle, I love the happy, but need to spend some time playing with the stamps and dies.

I love the Peaceful Place DSP as it is so versatile, you can make 3 of these cards from 1 piece of 12x12, with some dsp left over to make some different cards. I love the card I made on the video, which is your favourite?

6x6 cards using DSP

6x63.jpg

I have made it back in my craft room after a pretty rough week. I don’t know about you but I find crafting very relaxing and sometimes it is exactly what I need. I am still in love with the Peaceful Place DSP, I am on a mission to use it all up. The designs make making super simple cards so quick and easy. Today I have cut down one of the sheets to make gorgeous 6x6 cards. The papers could be used to create a number of different scenes, you could use the Peaceful Deer Stamps and Punch. Today I have used cabins which I have fussy cut from the papers.

These are the measurements for the card, as the DSP is 12" x1, I have only provided the imperial measurements.

Card Base - 6" x 12" (scored at 6”)

Silver Panel – 5 7/8" x 5 7/8"

White Panel and inside white panel - 5 3/4" x 5 3/4"

I have removed the centre of the silver panel to use on another card

The fine glue is perfect for adding the sequins

Use the take your pick tool and another pokey tool to add the sequins (the take your pick putty is super sticky)

When fussy cutting, I have simply cut the cabins, the trees are fiddly!

I love the versatility of the Peaceful Place DSP, I have a few more cards to show using these gorgeous papers. I think I prefer my original card with one cabin. Which do you prefer?

Dreaming of a peaceful place!

Hi all, something slightly different for me today. I was silly earlier this week and fell over (being super clumsy is not good sometimes!) I rehurt my arm and have been unable to make it into my craft room so don’t have a card to share with you today. instead I thought I would share one of the items that I have fallen in love with in the Mini Catalogue.

The papers that I am longing to play with are the Peaceful Place speciality DSP. There are some gorgeous items in the suite and the video below shows the overview from Stampin’ Up! of the whole suite which includes these papers. I love the colours!

Hopefully I will make it back into the craft room soon. What is your favourite suite from the new catalogue?
