Snowman Season - simple Stamping

4.png

Another day, another Snowman Seasons simple card. Todays card uses stamp, inks and paper (do Stampin’ Write markers count?)

I saw a gorgeous card with this simple design on Pinterest and thought it was the perfect card for making multiples. I also thought that it was a fabulously gorgeous card.

You could stamp the Merry Christmas in lots of different colours. Also you could use any Stampin’ Write marker to colour the hat. I have seen some gorgeous combinations with Pool Party.

My Metric 10.5 cm x 14.5 cm

Inside Panel - 10 cm x 14.5 cm

Metric 10.5 cm x 14.8 cm

Inside Panel 10cm x 14.3cm

Imperial 4." x 5.5"

Inside Panel 3.75” x 5.25”

You could use a Stampin’ Write marker, to draw a wobbly line around the card, or you could trace around a shape to create a interesting pattern.

I love the bright real red Merry Christmas. What is your favourite?

Snowman Season - crafting through the seasons

2.png

Last year I was really disappointed in myself, I did not really make any Christmas Cards and did not send many either. Part of the problem was putting it off and then the normal life got in the way excuse.

I love making cards, but I am not good at sending them to people, they seem to be left in a box. It is something that I really need to get better at. This year I am determined to make and send all my friends and family cards, especially Christmas Cards.

So I have set myself a challenge to make a minimum of 5 Christmas Cards a week to be able to send cards to everyone on my card list. So I have created the Claire’s Creative Christmas Card Challenge aka #5cscrimbochallenge. I have decided to document what is happening.

My first card idea is a Simple Christmas Card using the Snowman Season Stamp Set and Glitter. Although Stampin’Up! does not sell Glitter any more there are lots of choices out there for you to choose from, If you do not want to get messy, you could use metallic pearls or sequins.

My Metric

10.5 cm x 14.5 cm

Inside Panel - 10 cm x 14.5 cm

Metric

10.5 cm x 14.8 cm

Inside Panel 10cm x 14.3cm

Imperial

4." x 5.5"

Inside Panel 3.75 x 5.25

I like all three, but the glitter just has an extra edge. Nothing quite says snow/ Christmas like glitter. Which is your favourite?

Notes of Kindness Card Kit

notes_of_kindness.jpg

Over the last few days I have been playing with some of the Stampin’ Up! all inclusive kits. Kits are perfect for new stampers to test the basics of stamping or more advanced crafters who have limited space.

Sometimes it’s nice to just be able to sit, relax and make some gorgeous cards without having to make decisions as all the planning and instructions are provided for you.  Everything is ready to go!  You just have to add a bone folder, scissors and glue.

The Notes of Kindness is an amazing kit. This kit is so simple to make using the stickers and die-cuts provided but also makes 20 elegant cards with a gorgeous soft design.

What is included in the kit

  • Set of 6 photopolymer stamps

  • All paper supplies to make 20 cards. ( 5 of each 4 designs)

  • Clear stamp Block

  • Giftable kraft box

  • Die-cut stickers and accent

  • Dimensionals

  • Black Archival ink spot

  • Adhesive-backed Pearls

  •  Copper Baker’s Twine

I just love the mix in this amazing colour pallette, they are gorgeous together.

I decided to use the stamps to create some more cards using the stamp set, block and ink spot. I also used the 2019-2021 In colours.  But you could use any colour combination.

The vidoes show a close up of the Notes of Kindness Kit and also the cards that I have made using the kit and also the stamps and other colours.

I hope you love the kit as much as I do. I love the new In-colour combinations and also the kit which you may not have noticed in the Catalogue.
